Hi,

I want to use EPG Proxy with EyeTV and my freebox (IPTV, new in 2.5).

xmltv works well and generates a XML file

But when I try to configure a channel’s guide (its the dialog where you choose a postal code), it tells me that no channel list is available.

I tried putting ‘cable’ but also ‘freebox’ in config.inc.php

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Mayel

Here is the Zip request :

And the channel list (which never actually gets requested by eyeTV) :

Did you try using ‘check’ as your zip code ?
This will tell you which type you need to use in your config.
If check doesn’t return any available listing, it’s that your device is of an ‘unknown’ type (i.e. a type I don’t know about).

Yes, I have tried using ‘check’, and got nothing.

I even tried entering ‘Freebox’ as the type, but that didn’t work.

How can I figure out what type to use ?

P.S: tvtv still works with Freebox, but it uses HTTPS (so I can’t see whats going on)

The way I found types that are available is: I used a real TitanTV account, and queried TitanTV for lineups using a real Zip Code. It replied with a bunch of lineups, some of which appeared in my EyeTV, depending on my device and settings.

You might have some luck by looking at tvtv traffic using WebScarab. Set it up as a HTTP/S proxy in System Preferences > Network, and try to use tvtv in EyeTV to get lineups. If EyeTV doesn’t check the SSL certificate, it will work and you’ll see the tvtv traffic in WebScarab.

I tried using WebScarab to see the tvtv lineup requests, but EyeTV ignores the HTTPS proxy setting from Mac OS (it uses the proxy for port 80 though).

According to the initial requests to tvtv (ironically, the logging-in is not secured), their webservice uses csv.
