Hi there if you see this message or someone else does that lives in sweden. I managed to set up this guide but i get rf_channel = 0 on all channels and every tv channel = SVT2. If you have the time can you send me your hacked files so i can test em out ? best is to reply to this thread so other can read but it would also be nice if you could send the files to me as well andreas@traffas.se Cheers |

You can try this file: http://eyetv-epg-proxy.googlecode.com/svn/trunk… Replace it in /Library/WebServer/Documents/eyetv-epg-proxy/dataservice.asmx/ - Guillaume |

Since your XMLTV feed doesn’t contain the correct RF ID, you’ll first need to click the EPG column for each channel in the Channels tab, then select TitanTV. This will show you available channels, and you’ll be able to associate each one found by your tuner to the stations from your XMLTV feed. Once that’s done, the Program Guide tab should show you all the channels. - Guillaume |

It is working really great!! thanks Guillaume i hope this post will show others whats needed as the last step when assigning channels i missed that … Thanks! |

One more question though that i just discovered, when i tune in to a channel that channel automatically changes from TitanTV to DVB again and i loose the guide for that channel… |

I don’t know about that; never seen this happen with my NTSC tuner. Probably something to do with DVB and embedded guide. Is there an option somewhere in your EyeTV to turn off guide contained in DVB streams? That’s the best I can think of. - Guillaume |

No i havent found any option and i checked to com.elgato blah blah file as well didnt find anything in there either. I might send an email to elgato and see what they reply with it would be nice to have this going when im so close :) |

The Response from Elgato Andreas, Thank you for contacting Elgato Systems. Since EyeTVProxy is not made by Elgato Systems, we’re not able to support it. Since TitanTV is never used in Europe, I suspect that the use of that choice is confusing EyeTV. In Europe, TVTV or the DVB EPG are the usual choices, so EyeTV may be looking at your hardware and setup, and assuming that one of those is your choice. EyeTV would never think that TitanTV is the right choice for Europe, so it may be resetting that. That is my guess, but we haven’t tested this at all. Hopefully the developer of this software can help you. If you have other questions, let me know. I sent a reply about being able to disable DVB but no answer yet |
