Just a quick news post to tell .au users that EyeTV 2.3.2+ now supports IceTV natively. Comes with 1 free month of EPG.

A heads-up to any .au users who upgrade to 2.3.2:

When you first launch the new EyeTV version it will bring up the setup assistant and it appears if it detects Australian services it resets your TV Guide settings to point at IceTV. No big deal, but you will have to go into Preferences and change it back to TitanTV, then go back to the main window and reassign all of the channels back to TitanTV on the channels tab, then go back to Preferences and update the guide.

Ignore the warning that now appears (for me at least with the username ‘user’) warning of an invalid user name, it doesn’t prevent the guide from downloading from EyeTV EPG Proxy.

Australian users should also note that IceTV are running a promotion for the month of October where the subscription price has been reduced significantly, see IceTV

And before anyone asks, none of the behaviour re DVB and TitanTV has changed in this version of EyeTV, and Elgato appear not to be using IceTV’s published interface, so initially no spoofing opportunity there.
